Tyler graduated in 2002 from the Animal Health Technology program at Fairview College in 2002 and has been a member of the team at Britannia Kingsland Veterinary Clinic for 6 years. He has worked with a wide variety of species over the years from farm animals to marine animals.
Tyler completed his practicum in San Francisco at the Marine Mammal Centre where he cared for harbor seals, elephant seals, sea lions and other species that were rescued and rehabilitated. Some day, Tyler would like to go to Alaska to research the population decline in Stellar Sea Lions.
Tyler has a strong interest for surgery and anesthesia, he loves being able to help pets in need. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys fitness, baking and travelling. In the summer he can be found in the mountains with his Doberman, Jaxxon, hiking and backcountry camping.
