Raised in Calgary, Dr. McClure completed her Bachelor of Science at Mount Royal University and furthered her education with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Calgary. She took an active role in her academic community as a representative for small animal nutrition and as the president of the emergency and critical care club.
She has a strong interest in small animal internal medicine and urgent care. She possesses a deep passion for wildlife medicine and spent two-years working at a wildlife rehabilitation center. There, she focused on public education and the rehabilitation and release of Alberta species. This enthusiasm carried over into her veterinary school years, leading her to select electives centered on exotic medicine and emergency & urgent care during her final year. She is eager to expand her knowledge through continuing education and looks forward to building relationships with her clients and patients.
In her free time, she takes pleasure in the company of her two rabbits and three dogs. She also enjoys outdoor activities like birding and hiking.
